Rent & Deposit
Rent:
All rent is pre-paid each month, unless otherwise agreed in your contract. The rent must be paid from a danish bank account. If payments are made from a foreign bank, we will request an additional fee of DKK 100,- per payment. Rent is due on the first day of each month and the transfer must include your full name as a reference.
Deposit:
All our contracts follow the Danish legislation for rent and deposit, which can be found here (in Danish) - and we use a standard contract, where all extras are described in §11. So as the contract(s) will depend on your lease, be sure to verify all your details in your own contract they are individual. In general we require a deposit equal to 3 months rent and 1 month rent in pre-paid rent.
You will receive your deposit in full no later than 14 days after the inspection viewing, given that there is no need for repairs or work to be done. In cases where e.g. we have to initiate painting, we will do so, as fast as possible (depending on available craftsmen) after which you will receive the remainder of your deposit.
